What is this all about?

Lower Tancredston Farmhouse is the main 'residence' for the Wade family in Tancredston, Hayscastle, Pembrokeshire. It has been empty for over 2 years and finally a builder has been selected (Mark Roberts) for the entire renovation project. This blog is the story (with photos) of the renovation.

Exciting News

This means that the hot tub room needs to be finished by then, so lots of activity in there - painting, tiling, skirting, ventilation etc.

In the rest of the house, there has also been lots of tiling, painting, carpentry and even some plastering (in the front porch).  Most of the scaffolding has come down - except for a small section on the older side of the house, where a lintel has had to be replaced.

The older part of the house, from the farmyard -
this shows that we are literally right on the yard.  Short commute!
Upstairs - the first 3 windows on the left are for my craft room, and the guest bedroom on the right.
Downstairs - the first 2 windows on left are Rich's office, then the door to the internal porch,
and then the kitchen on the right.

The boiler room - with newly tiled floor.

My airing cupboard in the laundry room.

The main bathroom - almost finished.

The kitchen - taken tonight, so a bit dark.
(You can see where the island will be going.)
Looking down the passageway to the hot tub room -
downstairs shower room on the right.
