What is this all about?

Lower Tancredston Farmhouse is the main 'residence' for the Wade family in Tancredston, Hayscastle, Pembrokeshire. It has been empty for over 2 years and finally a builder has been selected (Mark Roberts) for the entire renovation project. This blog is the story (with photos) of the renovation.

White walls and ceilings ...

The decorator has been on site for a few days and almost finished the first coat of white paint upstairs.  Has really made a difference to the house.

More bathroom fittings have arrived and been fitted - except the bath has a deep scratch in it, and will need to be replaced (annoying when the plumber had already put the taps in).

Carpets have been chosen - and wall colours.

Next week sees the final bathroom fittings being sorted (towel rails and mirrors), sample doors/handles arriving for our inspection, more tiling going down (particularly in the Hot Tub Room, so we can get that installed ASAP) and a lot more paint being used.
